Whilst in town today looking at furniture (yawn) I thought I'd pop into a shiny shop to have a mooch. Unfortunately the Mrs cane in with me, but then decided she wanted to have a look at a few pieces herself, as well as the ones that I was looking at.
The nice, and very knowledgeable lady in the shop, then presented us with a tray of goodies to peruse!!
Oh...and free choccies as well! [emoji51]

Every woman deserves a two-tone Lady Datejust. That's the only watch she needs in her life.
The lady in your life perhaps, but I certainly would not want one and I know many women who would neither want one, nor need one.
Most women I know don't "want" mechanical watches, imho. They'd rather spend their precious $$$ on bags, jewelry, clothes or kitchenware. Should they want a watch, they'd opt to get lots of quartz pieces (which are more practical and fashionable) over one expensive piece. It's only when her partner gives her a luxury mechanical watch that makes it special... and "needed" in hindsight. As a husband, there's a sense of delight whenever I see my wife wearing a Datejust, which is one of the most beautiful watches ever IMHO.
Agree for the most part... but what this means is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The reason she wants it and 芦 needs 禄 it is because it鈥檚 a present from her loving husband and because you like this watch and take pleasure seeing her wearing it.馃榿
Women can be funny about money and watches. For instance, if I say to my wife, "Look, honey, this watch I bought a few years back has appreciated to where it's worth $10,000!" She'll say, "How much did you pay for it?" Then I say, "$5500." Then she'll say, "Are you out of your FREAKIN' mind?!"
