The Zenith of an obsession (or how I bought 3 Zeniths in 9 weeks)

At the end of March, I had Zero Zeniths. And suddenly, in a flurry of buying which stunned even me, I have a trio!

It started with an eBay cal 156D that @khmt2 clued me onto in early Apr, from Italy

Then in May, @watchknut and I had a great transaction for a El Primero Original 1969 that I'd been searching for for some time on bracelet

Then I started a conversation with a nice chap in the UK over a RG Zenith, but I eventually bought his A271 which just arrived last week (and again, aided by @khmt2 & E.). I'd been lusting after an A271 since I saw @Mick Tock 's lovely one 2 years ago, so I was quite chuffed with this clean one.

Ok, admittedly crappy family shot

They do wear nicely on my slim wrist, 37-38mm is perfect

They all have different characters - warm, sporty, austere - but I love them all! For the vintage ones, as @LouS once mentioned, it's a good thing the hot prices in the vintage SS chrono market have not quite percolated down to vintage dress chronographs yet 馃榾

Thanks for watching!

Keep going...there are a lot more out there....A trio is nice but an orchestra is better.

Beautiful! Every one of them. You know there is a vintage model and a tank that needs to be included in that almost complete set!

great looking trio to cover most occasions!
There are some bad influences on here, as now I think I'm missing a dress chrono myself, hmm what to do.... 馃榾

I'm not even going to hold it against you that you picked up that incredible El Primero Original 1969 from watchknut before I could!
Where did you say you picked up that Tank? Oh yah.. you haven't traveled that road yet.
Happy hunting.
