I wanted to but dinner and the evening in general prevented it.
There was also a lot of cloud cover from my POV so I didn't even bother trying to peak outside.

Cool that you have an option to just peek outside! I just watched the streaming on the website. Successful launch, successful Stage 1 re-entry and landing! I only wish they could figure out how to keep the video feed up through the entire Stage 1 touchdown.

I'm on the opposite coast but almost a straight shot across.
Here is a shot of the plume from my back yard about 30 min after the Crew 2 launch back in April

Watched an interview with William Shatner this morning before he becomes the oldest person to leave the atmosphere. He was wearing a new 3861 Speedmaster. Good to see Captain Kirk in a Speedy! No time to add a screen shot but will do so later if no one posts one in the meantime.

Seems like that is now standard equipment for the Amazon space bus crew/passengers.
There is a photo on their 'Gram that pictures them all wearing one on the white Velcro.

What is Shatner's secret the guy is 90 years old. I was never big on Star Trek until I got Netflix I have now watched every episode. Really cool to see him make the trip.

Captain Kirk says he wants to press his nose to the window and see the vastness of space and the fragility of the Earth. He only has 10 minutes, hope he acts quick.

Best Captain, Kirk or Picard. Kirk got more babes. So he wins in my book.

Ya saw that the guy has a great sense of humor. Jon Luc Picard was great at the helm and I liked how they maintained the corniness of the original but Kirk gotta be the best. I just started the “new” one with Picard though.

Kirk was born in the year 23 something or other. Shatner beat Kirk into space.

Maybe these commercials endeavors will answer the question "are we alone?"

Would like to know before I go to the next galaxy

I am still waiting to see Brian Blessed go into space, he may not be the oldest but he will certainly be the loudest and profane not to mention modest.

It would be miraculous if we were the only life in the entire universe. Vast doesn’t describe what is around us. If by some weird chance, we are the only planet that contains life in the entire universe think how much more precious that makes life. And then think of how we kill each other over 5 bucks or a piece of land. Pretty wild really.
