Thanks for clarification sir. So it’s the broad arrow markings. Well, its part of the watch’s total appeal. Would be a completely different watch without them.

What do the numbers on the caseback refer to?
Please read through page number 3 on this thread and you’ll get all the answers!

I think the opposite, even in the brilliant fantasy that is James Bond I don't think they would give a spy a watch that has markings on the dial that denote it as British Govt property....ooops! For retail, if folks like it why not? I am sure it is a great watch but the use of the pheon on the dial is a step too far for me, personally.
I feel you, but it is good to remember:
It’s all about the design. It looks good and there is always a meaning behind. James Bond -fantasy world has always been full of secret marks with hidden meaning. For example SPECTRE organization with the ”secret” Octopussy sign to mark that you are part of the organization. Arrow-symbol is for the spies, the good ones.
Anyway: Let’s not get too serious!::psy::

Better judge yourself, my amazing AD called today...
I am impressed:
So light&easy to wear, true Bond-watch without yelling it. Technical qualities of the 8806 are stunning, dial is soooo stylish—you have to see this piece yourself! Photos&videos don’t do any justice. Even though I am a huge Rolex fan, this Seamaster beats the Rolex Sub in every way. Yeah, sub was the original Bond watch, but Seamaster is the Modern era Bond watch. IMO: Best Bond Watch Ever.
I think this is one of the first Bond Seamasters in Europe!

I got mine on wednesday 👍

Love the look of the new model although without seeing it in person agree that the patina maybe a little forced..be interesting to see how it ages.
Still a fan of the classics. Looking good decades later is a testament to good design. Side by side you can also sense how massive the 2500 is.

That's a great looking Bond watch. I still can't tell if it's worth it without seeing in person.

It is interesting how the pheon divides opinion among members. No right answer, just different strokes for different folks.

Any photoshop pros out there?

Would be great to see some of these pics adjusted for a normal tone of white (off white?) lume/bezel?

Pics&videos... you always have to experience the watch yourself to know if it is for you. Many of these hype-watch... it’s crazy: people are forced to buy watches without seeing them.. for example the Daytona: stunning watch (pics&videos), great history, cult followers—but when I personallly experienced the watch: too tiny for me. To use the complication: to open the screws was irritating. Very hard to read... conclusion: not for me. You gotta see the watch before buying.

As a big Bond fan I do love a Bond watch. I have a 2226.80.00 'gun barrel' variant of the blue wave SMP Co-axial from 2008 (2006 model).

Wondering if Bond will wear another, as yet unpublicised, model in addition to the new SMP-Ti, in 'No Time To Die'.

In Skyfall and SPECTRE the PO and 300m Diver were both marketed prior to release, yet both also featured the lesser publicised 39mm and then 41mm blue Aqua Terras (8500), respectively. Maybe another AT, or even a Railmaster or DeVille to compliment his go-to action SMP?

Can't wait.
