Just got my 1969 Admiralty back from its initial service after purchasing. It needed some work! Thanks to all who helped, gave advice, and provided part numbers. Without the OF, I’d be lost. Great advice on crystal, replacement crown info, dial condition, etc. Wish you all healthy and happy! Some pics below.

Special thanks to @DIV, @Maskelyne, @STANDY, @Archer, @JimInOz, @Dan S

Looks great! What brand/model of band is that?
Good question. It is a guy called the “Mad Strapper”. Found him on eBay of all places. A real nice guy named Josh who simply loves timepieces. He’s not a expert (on watches), just leather. It’s Horween leather and executed well. A little pricey, but no different than other Horween straps I’ve seen for sale. He promotes standard sizes, but I needed a 17mm, obviously, so he worked with me over email and it turned out great. Look up Horween leather straps on eBay and it should come up. His handle is jwiner1 on eBay.

Nice one, that’s how we like them to turn out. 👍

So many rush out and buy before they ask, or don’t do enough homework....

Exactly! Thanks to the warm reception from you guys/gals at OF, it made it easy to learn and get the appropriate parts. Trying to stay true to the spirit Omega intended with the Admiralty. Thanks again!

To piggy-back my last comment, I was lucky enough to have the Fixo-Flex bracelet included. It was a little short, probably missing some links, yet I’m very OK with my strap. I will always keep this bracelet with the Admiralty, even if I don’t use it. They belong together.

Roughly 6 month update on my 1969 Admiralty (136.015, cal 613). I simply wrote this thread to thank all those at OF. All were helpful providing me with invaluable information and answering my questions on previous threads. As you can see in the pics above I put a striking caramel-ish (or dark tan) Horween leather strap. I had it custom because of the 17mm lugs on my Admiralty. And I love it! Yet when I purchased my Admiralty, the seller included the FixoFlex (1122/563). It was busted up, but I wanted it none the less. Thanks to my Omega mechanic, he repaired it. Also a special thanks to @DIV, helping me out with an extra FixoFlex link, getting it to a comfy length. I know the Omega FixoFlex has plenty of good, bad and ugly! The other day I strapped on the FixoFlex and I love it, too! Here are my photos of my Admiralty with leather and with the bracelet. Also a before and after of the FixoFlex. Which do you guys/gals prefer? Share your pics of your Admiralty on your favorite strap! What is your opinion of the FixoFlex? Am I nuts for lovin’ it? Maybe I’ll get some great ideas seeing your favorite strap on your Admiralty. Thanks again everyone and stay healthy!

That's lovely, looks great on both the strap and the bracelet. Love those orange accents.
