··Omega Qualified WatchmakerMegger is a test of electrical resistance…it involves applying a current to the wires. I suspect doing so here would damage the thermistors.

·A megger test involves a lot more current than a normal multi meter so it can damage some components, indeed it can be from anything from 250V DC to up to @ 15KV DC so it can pack a fair punch!
