Teddington advice if possible

Hi, I’ve spotted these 2 ‘Teddingtons’ and am wondering if anyone can advise as to their likely authenticity.

The one on the Gay Freres steel bracelet looks more convincing to me …

Both are being offered circa 1700usd

I would not pay an extra for this kind of star on the dial because it was a mere marketing gimmic...
Better buy two watches in better condition for this kind of money which is asked here for one...

Much appreciated, my thinking was max offer of about $500 on either but that perhaps a more intelligent approach would be to wait for something in better condition. The star I see as a distraction, would actually prefer both watches without … but otherwise I really like both of the dials though would of course prefer them in better condition…
