ยทNot sure if anyone else saw this but I received a newsletter from Monochrome watches this morning and one of the articles was on the performance of the Swiss Watch industry for the first half of 2019.
If I have read this correctly the industry has moved less watches but increased profits. This is also supported by the statement that in the last 18 years watch sales have fallen by 6 million units a year from 29 million in 2000 to 23 million in 2018.
There is comment about the areas that are giving the the industry the most profit and updates on the Swatch group and Richemont results.
I've included the link to the article below for anyone else to read, trust that this is okay.
