"Swiss made" partially obscured in Ref 2846 Seamaster

I just nabbed a Seamaster and noticed the "swiss made" seems half covered by the tension ring:



I have searched and read about this issue, and concluded that the crystal and/or tension ring are somehow wrong (wrong part, incorrect installation..). What do you guys think? Is the "cut off" possibly correct?

I can't pinpoint the exact model reference numbers but partially obscured "swiss" or "swiss made" is quite common. I wouldn't give it a second thought.
