If you can find an Enicar Super Compressor under 1000 euro, i think that would be the best win/win in my opinion. Great watch, great history and excellent value. Here is mine 😀 (not for sale though)

Gonna disagree here. The 36mm IMO is the better size. It wears well on both smaller and larger wrists. My pick is the Wittnauer. I had a really good one that I sold to a friend. Now working on restoring this one -

Congratulations, amazing colour on that dial. Totally agree that the 36mm case is the best! 😀

I like them ... 😗

I was sooo close to pulling the trigger on the no-date Legend that was on the FS forum recently- they are pretty hard to find compared to the dated version.

Awesome watch

diving back into these lately and love seeing all the super compressors.

especially digging some of the single crown ones as I’ve yet to own one.

here’s my only Benrus one.

hoping to add another this week.

@wbfondren , I’d love to hear more about that great original bracelet, wow!

I bought a small box of NOS compressor crown a while ago, but I’m wondering which references the Rodania ones would’ve been used on as I can only seem to find images of Rodania supercompressors with logo-free hatched crowns. They’re obviously old and correct from the shape, the hatching, and the back, but I’m scratching my head what they should go on ? Given there are three pairs I’m inclined to guess they were for twin crown models, but obviously just a guess...

The bottom one looks like the ones on my Longinese 7042:

If it fits, I don't mind having a spare (or two) 😀

Yeah the bottom pair are standard plain ones, and actually the one you mention is the same that my Rodania Waterman came with. I guess it’s also correct for the Longines. Last time I sold a plain one I needed one a month later, so I’ll be hanging onto it ! They crop up fairly often on the bay though.

Revival of this thread with my two supercompressors from 1965 and 66 with a diameter of 36 and 40 mm:
