Hello fellow OF members. I’m ready to acquire my next Omega and I’m thinking that a birth year watch - 1958 in my case - would be a worthy goal. I’ve just started to contemplate this purchase so I’m wide open to suggestions. I currently own a vintage Speedy Pro, an SMPc (modern) and a Globemaster. So let’s hear what y’all have to say! Thanks.

How about a Breitling Navitimer 806?

How about a Ranchero? There are plenty of Seamasters, but the Ranchero really stands out.

If you fancy a Change from Omega, I’d suggest UG Polerouter, Rolex 1520.

Is there a budget in mind?

I’m reasonably flexible for my budget. I had already been thinking seriously about a Ranchero.

How about a CK 2914-1 with broad arrow hands and Cal. 284 movement on a 7077 bracelet and #6 endlinks?

Was also going to suggest Ranchero. If you're looking to go big, perhaps a Patek Amagentic Reference 3417. I think those were first released in '58
