Sooo, have to look further, hmmm👎

Original mesh for 250€ is not a solution, I´m afraid. The incoming SM is in excellent condition and I´d like to save the original bracelet and use some cheapo as it will be a daily wearer.

I have not looked back through the thread so you may already have had some of these suggested to you:

There are a couple of inexpensive options / ideas here:

Here is an example of Staib mesh bracelets

http://lonestarwatches.com/3.2Mesh.htm

And here are some ideas and examples of Vollmer bracelets

I am the other way around. I have the bracelet but still looking for the watch to put on it 😉

Just got the one from China that was linked. Fit and finish are decent, though less than perfect. The end links don't fit exactly tight against the case as I would expect the real one does. The clasp is the Seamaster variety with dive extension and no micro adjustments but luckily it's a perfect fit with 3 links removed. For $50 I'm not going to complain a bit.

That's actually pretty dern nice looking for $50. So how comfortable is the bracelet vs the original? Or do you not have an original to compare it with. For $50 if it actually is moderately close to the Omega bracelet it might be worth using it as a beater bracelet with the original end links so the clasp isn't permanently scarred up from desk diving at the like.

its comfy. I have not had a watch with a bracelet for some time so it'll take some getting used to again, but its certainly all right. I have had the real bracelet on only once and for not very long so I can't compare it exactly. I would say that it is "moderately close" to the real deal.

I have this same one, and I agree, on comfort, close enough given price st $50. I have a second one on order.
