So... many years ago, backpacking through Eastern Europe as a student, I bought this watch. I liked it. wore it, then it stopped working. I put it in a drawer thinking I’d get around to it one day, but never did. Life (and kids, mostly the kids) got in the way and I found it again recently.

So here it is, and I STILL don’t have time to get it fixed. It doesn’t wind nor does the hour hand turn. If someone is looking for a project, they can have it for a £100 donation to the NSPCC (UK kids charity). I believe it’s a genuine Sturmanskie 1MChz, 33mm, and dating from the 50s, but hey who knows? Then again it did come with an odd little bund type strap which has a little photo of, I’m fairly sure, Yuri Gagarin, which would be an odd and specific thing to fake..photos below, I’ll try and add a day light shot tmw.
