Hi all,
I hereby put up for sale my neo-vintage soviet era Poljot Sturmanskie cronograph, supposedly from 1989-90.

This example is in nice conditions imho, as far as I know it is fully original and was completely serviced in june 2020 by my trusty watchmaker. A bit of history is maybe needed here: 31659 came into production as a tool watch in 1986, replacing the non-hacking 3133 as an issue watch for Soviet military aviators. Production ceased just after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. They were also used by soviet and russian cosmonauts and we know for sure that a watch like this went into space in 1993 on the wrist of an engineer joining a Soyuz expedition.

Unpolished all stainless steel case measures 39 mm without unsigned original crown and is in very good shape, retaining its factory sharp edges and polished finishing. Please note that the stainless steel case makes this reference stand out from the other similar and more common models housing cal.3133, which have a chrome case. Original and typical "bell shape" pushers also in stainless steel, original glass in good shape, cool screw down caseback with some scratches but nothing terrible. Lugs width 18mm.

Original light grey dial shows some uniform creamy patina, I think it was relumed at a certain point because it shines great in the dark. Date at 6, original hands set, typical red sweephand with wing near the tip is there.

31659 manual movement works sweetly after service and keeps good time. Hacking function works as it should.

Watch comes on a nice black rally leather strap with red stitches from italian master Torre Straps. It has been used 4 or 5 times but it has much life left.

Please ask me for any doubt about the watch. I will reply as fast as possible: via mp here, email [email protected] or whatsapp +393473071828

Watch and me are located in Rome, Italy. I'm asking 465 euros shipped with tracking code and ensured with Secursus everywhere within EU. Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Bank wire preferred, F&F paypal possible. Face to face in Rome obviously possible.

I have some good feedbacks under my belt on OF at the following link, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay to provide if needed:

Before letting pics do the talking, thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.

GLWS
Glad to point out that this type of watch has been worn by at least 50 cosmonauts during about 30 Soyuz missions to Salyut space stations...
