Strap question - BB58 Navy Blue

I just picked up a new Black Bay 58 as a way to mark the recent the passing of my grandfather.

I bought the watch on the OEM bracelet, which I really like, despite the faux-rivets and lack of decent micro-adjustment. But, being the strap junky I am, I’ve immediately begun seeking out strap options.

The OEM fabric strap is really intriguing, but expensive. From a couple of videos I’ve watched online, the strap is supposedly quite short and I wonder if it will fit my ~7.5” wrist. Does anyone here own the fabric strap, and if so, do you think it can work with a relatively larger wrist?

Any other strap suggestions would also be appreciated... I’m likely going to pick up one of the two Erika’s straps below... I’m leaning towards grey:

Here it is with the bracelet installed on my wrist:

I wear mine with an erikas also. Really great and a third of the price of the OEM fabric.

I also have a blue rubber b strap. Expensive but a fantastic fit to the watch and very comfy.

I have a 41mm ETA blue on the OG strap and there is nothing quite like it. Seems like it might be short on a bigger wrist; mine is just under 7in. It may depend on how you adjust it.

Thank you! Do you happen to have a picture of your BB58 on the Erika’s strap? Which colour combo did you go for?

Vanguard make an awesome vulcanised rubber strap which is great for doing absolutely anything. You can get it soaked without a worry in the world.

Ivan at Two Stitch is the best! I think I own more than two dozen of his straps

No one is better in terms of price to quality ratio. 👍

I have to admit I love what Ivan does, I have a bunch of standard straps and a few custom straps from him.

To be honest someone else will have to do something pretty special to take my business from TwoStitch.

I bought this rubber strap for my Tudor from vanguard straps and it looks so impeccable on it.

7.5" is not that big a wrist so I doubt you'll have issues if you go with the OEM from Tudor—which by all accounts is the nicest NATO on earth. People LOVE them, but they are not cheap. I have heard that the Crown & Buckle Chevron is very close, but not exact. The Tudor straps are woven on old-world looms and with specific textiles which gives them that ultra tight, but supple weave.

FWIW, I've been looking hard at the Chevron straps from C&B, seems like a hard option to beat given their price. I could never wear the Erika's stuff with that gigantic buckle.

I don't know if you purchased the erika strap. I can only tell you that you must know how to fit it correctly and put the buckle in the right position. I've seen many cretinos on the internet that don't know how to do it.
