I forgot to mention... I have two curved straps coming from Ivan at Two Stitch... I asked for them because my Explorer's case is so sharp that it scalps the top of all of my leather straps.

馃憤 good deal, let's see those when you get them!

I generally purchase watches with bracelets as well. It is usually easy to switch a watch to a strap...QUOTE]

and buying w/a bracelet and then switching to a strap is also cost-saving strategy (most of the time) than the other way around...

I like the look of bracelets on some watches but find them uncomfortable to wear - so its straps for me.

I have a fondness for Hirsch and have a few hand made ones, my favourite though is the Di Modell Rallye. Very comfy and durable at a great price. I alternate between these and Velcro or Perlon.

I sold the bracelet that came with my Speedmaster without even trying it on. It looked way to chunky and the lack of adjustment was very poor.

If its a Rolex ... gotta have a bracelet. All else I'm good with a strap. I have a 1039 for my 144 22 69 but I don't use it.

i keep my GMT Master on a bracelet except to play around on a perlon strap from time to time. im working on getting a handmade leather and canvas strap for the Railmaster which was always the plan for that watch
