You might have a point there, I didn't know the Heritage has a shorter lug-to-lug distance. Unfortunately, there's no specs on the length of the case ends.
The 300 Heritage has a lug-to-lug of 48.0mm, case diameter of 41mm
The 43.5mm PO has a lug-to-lug of 49.0mm, case diameter of 43.5mm
The AT Worldtimer has a lug-to-lug of 50.3mm, case diameter of 43mm
However, the lug-to-lug distance is not definitive, since the holes might be spaced differently on the lugs from model to model and the case diameter also comes into play. The Heritage has the shortest lug-to-lug distance, but also has smallest case diameter of them all.
Viewing the specs above, the lug-to-lug difference between the Heritage and the WT is 2.3mm and the difference is case diameter is 2mm, so a possible total offset of 0.3mm. The difference between the PO and the WT is 1.3mm lug-to-lug and 0.5mm case diameter, possible total offset of 0.8mm. So it seems there's a high probability it will work and the length of the case ends might be what makes or breaks the exchangeability. Playing around with different spring bars often yields the solution.
For example, I can use the AT straps with the same spring bars on my 42mm and 43.5mm POs. An AT strap on my SMP 75th Anniversary required thinner spring bars, and the PO Alligator strap on my WT required curved spring bars. I have yet to make an OEM AT strap fit my SMP 2265. Oftentimes the only way to find out is to try.
