Hey guys, I stubbed across this omega with a unique case that pops up on the front. the case appears to be silver is this genuine? the movement has something to do with whyler. maybe produced for the US market?
I have my doubts on this one. There is no connection that I know of between Wyler and Omega in the USA. Movement doesn't look like an Omega, but it looks like a Wyler/ETA: http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&2&2uswk&Wyler_E1220 Case engraving is crude. Silver hallmark is non-US, but there is an import code on the movement. Can't read it though. Pictures are so distorted and blurry, I haven't a clue what I'm looking at.
