I’ve got a new account and get email notifications for everything. I’ve tried to unsubscribe from them several times by clicking at the bottom of each email, but it hasn’t worked. Any advice?

 

When you click on the follow button of a thread choose the one without mail notifications;



Edit: via the desktop browser (not accessible via your phone browser) click on your avatar and settings which gives you this screen:
