Looks like from that listing it is a 50's box for when you purchased a watch! Pretty neat!
A little costlier than I'd have interest in, but cool looking all the same. A shame yours doesn't have the 'liner' parts, those are the ones that would make it valuable as a collector.

·800 is 'continental silver', was popular in Italy and Germany before 0.925 sterling silver became the norm, hence the name. That box could have been used as a cigarette box afterwards.
