Honestly, as a bracelet guy I like this on the strap. Beautiful ribbon dial by the way!

I’ve discussed this issue with @MtV concerning my new baby: I bought it with a NOS Ω black leather strap, but I tend to favor the BOR (at least when I get myself pulled together to fit the endlinks correctly). But it’s a tough choice.

The right texture black leather can pair nicely with slightly patina black dial. Both look great.

It depends on the watch, and indeed the bracelet in question.
I tried my Flightmaster on several leather straps and it just didn't look right..... it looked unbalanced and bulky........Where as steel gives it a more blended and balanced appearance hiding it's bulk.

Those horrid stretchy "old man" bracelets are a crime against humanity, god, horology and good taste...........tying the watch on your wrist with a frayed and mouldy, old bit of bailing twine would be an aesthetic improvement on those things!
