Damn, different tap size? Must’ve forgotten about that, I thought they were interchangeable.

I think I may have one from a stash of NOS parts I bought, but there is no part number on the sachet. Would you mind posting dimensions and I'll check if mine corresponds.

Ok, @tamura, I may have the correct crown. A quick measure with my metal non-digital callipers last night (not pressing firmly so as not to mark the crown) gave me a diameter of 5.6mm and thickness of 2.7mm) so within the margin of error. I have a bunch of Omega stems so I'll find one that fits and then measure to determine the tap.

I think tap 12 is too big.

Ofrei shows it as a tap 7.

The tap 12 crown is for a 2639 caliber 265.

Although Cousins UK list the crown for ref 2759 as 45003ST (original Omega specs).
Gets a bit confusing doesn't it.

The 06945004ST is also a tap 12 and close enough to not matter.

The tap 12/ tap 7 discrepancy is easy to explain. Tap 7 equals 1.2mm for Jules Borel/Esslinger etc. Cousins has an alternative way of expressing this. When they say tap 12 they mean 1.2mm. Cousins is easier for the layman, but it is perhaps not consistent with other parts of the industry.
