The correct one is going to be VERY hard to find I suspect. I don’t recall having seen one for sale.. https://omegaforums.net/threads/help-needed-with-old-seamaster.113208/#post-1499779
https://omegaforums.net/threads/ome...ommon-case-reference.4421/page-4#post-2016487 I’m not 100% sure it’s the same, it looks just a tiny bit slimmer, but maybe @iamvr would be interested in a trade. Let me know if you need measurements, I have a spare RG example I could check for dimensions.
I think I may have one from a stash of NOS parts I bought, but there is no part number on the sachet. Would you mind posting dimensions and I'll check if mine corresponds.
Ok, @tamura, I may have the correct crown. A quick measure with my metal non-digital callipers last night (not pressing firmly so as not to mark the crown) gave me a diameter of 5.6mm and thickness of 2.7mm) so within the margin of error. I have a bunch of Omega stems so I'll find one that fits and then measure to determine the tap.
Although Cousins UK list the crown for ref 2759 as 45003ST (original Omega specs). Gets a bit confusing doesn't it.
The tap 12/ tap 7 discrepancy is easy to explain. Tap 7 equals 1.2mm for Jules Borel/Esslinger etc. Cousins has an alternative way of expressing this. When they say tap 12 they mean 1.2mm. Cousins is easier for the layman, but it is perhaps not consistent with other parts of the industry.
