Spiralwinder pre-3861 ceramic bezel

Anyone have any success installing ceramic bezel from spiralwinder? In my case, the bezel came is about 0.2mm smaller at the diameter and my watch, the last iteration 1861 moonwatch has a bezel with a lip. The spiralwinder bezel is flushed till the ceramic. I have contacted them and they said what I purchased is indeed a pre-3861 model. Even my watchmaker failed to install it and since I’m not stateside, I tried again and voila, the bezel steel bent and it snapped the ceramic as well. I have to admit I’m probably putting body weight trying to install it. So that’s my 250 dollars down the drain…
