One of the best mods I have done so far, shaved 0.7mm in thickness and now you can view the beautiful movement as well. Because the reduction in thickness is all in the caseback, you don't have the OEM bubble caseback digging into your wrist anymore. Furthermore, for me at least, I use to have a gap between the lugs and my wrist that I hated, it felt like the watch was floating over my wrist rather than hugging it, now the watch hugs the wrist much better and the gaps are almost gone now.

The Spiral Winder caseback quality is excellent, the tools that are included make the job much easier and the best part is that it's an easily reversible mod. Took roughly 20min to do.

Now to the most important part, the pics.

Spiral Winder vs. OEM

Thickness before vs after

Antimagnetic inner case

The beautiful movement

You can see here the gap between the lugs and the table with the OEM caseback

With the Spiral Winder caseback the lugs are touching the table

End result

Highly recommend this mod to Trilogy owners 馃憤

Did you pressure test it after you did the swap? Just wondering. Part of the rationale for buying a modern watch, for me personally, is the water resistance so I am curious. (Care-free hand washing and wearing a watch in the rain, living large!)
