·I saw a Speedmaster for sale on another forum with an applied logo on the dial listed as a 1969 model. 145.022.69ST was embossed inside the caseback however its serial number was 3059XXXX which according to Roman Hartmann's chart indicates the watch was produced between 1970 & 1971.
The caseback was engraved with the first watch on the moon inscription. I was under the impression that the "transitional" models were produced between 1968 & 1969 had applied logos on the dial & pre-moon casebacks without any inscription.
The watch was fitted with a 1039 bracelet, I was under the impression that the watches were being supplied with the 1171 bracelet during that period.
