Boutiques have never had any prior warning or input into the ST order process so boutique staff being out of the loop wouldn't mean a much IMO. However it does sound like there will be no ST release this year, or perhaps at all going forward if the LE model is to be abandoned totally. We will know for definite at around 11am UTC/GMT tomorrow as I believe the releases are timed at 12:00 CET (ie Swiss noon). It is too soon to expect anything yet, it was never a midnight thing.

I was speaking more of the recent Omega 1st Tuesday trend, like the NEW321 announcement (2020), the resumption of 321 caliber (2019)

For that matter, what was last year’s 1st Tuesday announcement if any? I’ve sort of blocked out the past year

As for the ST, I though Robert has made it clear many mo the back there would be no such thing

there have been Speedmaster related announcements every year since 2019
2019 - Platinum 321
2020 - SS Ed White 321
2021 - 3861 based Speedmaster Professional

There is a decent chance of something in 2022, maybe not a "Speedy Tuesday". but something for sure.

I'd rather not have to wake up at 3 am if I don't have to. Then again, it's not like I have to commute to work or anything. 😁

I'm not getting up in the middle of the night for something that probably won't happen, if something does drop and if I like it there will be plenty available on the secondary market after it is released.

The Platinum 321 was not released on the first Tuesday of 2019, in fact it was released precisely on July 20 2019, on the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. The announcement that the 321 would be remanufactured was earlier, but nobody knew the official details of the first platinum watch until July 20, 2019.

Mh,

I am still waiting to get my Snoopy3 and a 321 at my AD (not OB). If another release would take place today,
it can be no.3 in that list of ordered but not delivered watches 🤨 That list has never been any longer - thank you.

But - I am still in a positive mood that this list will get shorter someday and would be happy to see another great
Speedy LE released or announced today 😗
