Speedy Tuesday Limited Edition Speculations?

Since the release of the 2021 3861 Speedmaster Professional, I’ve been wondering if there will be another Speedy Tuesday Limited Edition in the future. And if so, it’s safe to assume that they would be 3861 based (or 321 based). Anyone have any speculations on what the next one could be. I find myself daydreaming about possible St3s . Some examples that come to mind are a straight lug cased ST, a blue soleil ST. Anyway, I thought I’d ask you all. Cheers. Here’s my daily wear. A 2016 professional with a service dial for a 321 movement (modified for the 1861). As well as a speedy tuesday 1 crown.

There’s no way the ST3 will be 321 based unless it’s like 10 years from now and Omega has satisfied current demand. It’s going to be 3861 based.

The 321 Ed White, although not a limited edition watch , it is however produced in limited annual numbers. A new "Speedy Tuesday" could use the Ed White straight lug 39.7 case, and the 321 movement, and then add a faux patina brown dial such in the 145.022 or the first Speedmaster 2915. Another option same Ed White case and 321, but something like the 105.012, or 105.003 with an updated modern blue dial. In addition add lume to the minute hand on the 3 o'clock subdial so you can see the minute in the dark. Since the next "Speedy Tuesday " would be limited in number then the team working in the current Ed White could maybe do the job.

but there is only 2000 321s made a year and a premium is paid for this and the Speedy Tuesday 3 will be 2012 watches like the last 2.
Also putting it over the price of the Snoopy 3 so No the ST3 will not have a 321.

Anyway we already know it’s a X-33 😉 Moon rover edition. 50 years since the first moon rover used next year or this year.....

I would love to see a red racing moonwatch reedited in Speedytuesday series. 100% cliché but IMO that design and color code deserve to be enjoyed by more than just a tiny crowd.

This sounds like an echo 😁 And I heartily agree...but then it should have a 321...and first dibs to owners of both ST1/ST2...the true collectors 😁

That would be too similar to the ST 2 UM

For 99.99999% of people on earth that's what all Speedmasters are. Similar.

Yeah, but the requirement should be fetching ST3-exotic-racing whilst double-dogging ST1+2 😜

I actually had a weird dream that ST3 was a watch split down the middle aesthetically and the left half including case bezel and dial was an Ed White 105.003 with straight lugs while the right side was a latest generation Speedmaster Pro with Twisted lugs. It was such a watch that I messaged @Robert-Jan about it and he was like “I was a huge fan of Two-Face in the movie Batman Forever so I wanted to pay tribute to him in the next Speedy Tuesday”. Then I woke up.

That’s the first and last time I’ve dreamt about RJ.

Also it’s funny how the ST series are the one watch that tend not to leak as they’re sold online and not through boutiques. As soon as something gets shown confidentially to boutique managers (mainly in the US, the Europeans run a tight ship), my PM inbox blows up with people wanting to be the first to pass it on from their local boutique, but not with ST.

@dsio its a Dutch thing. My dad was convict stock and he would tell you what you were getting for your birthday before it was bought if he knew.
But my Dutch mother would not tell you until you had it unwrapped.
Dinner was a secret every night until it was being cooked. Even then you only half knew.

Nice to know it's not only "going Dutch" and "Dutch oven" to be internationally linked to Holland, did you know about congratulating everybody with the birthday of the party boy/girl (still not something I understand).

50 years for this one next year, I'm just praying.

Don't bother with a ST3 this year @Robert-Jan just focus on getting this one right next year please🥰

Hey I know I keep going on about this watch but come on, if it's gonna happen next year HAS to be the year right?

Wasn’t ST1 the Alaska Project lll tribute 😉 So that shark has been jumped already.....

I 100% agree - but to be fair, we are more likely to get a 321 than a 1(ONE)861.... you see what I'm saying? It might be $17500 though..

Oh interesting. this is making me very interested in what a tribute to the X-33 would look like. I may need to photoshop something..

Genius or insanity? The 19.5mm lugs will be a little annoying 😉
