·Well I finally got the call, but I can't travel 9 hours (return) to pick it up as my shoulder was dislocated lol. So going to have it shipped. Hopefully all the markers are aligned. Going to have them check.
In another note, I asked for the bracelet to go with this, and I feel like only one of them is correct. the 1171/633 is a 19mm right? The ultraman is 20mm.

·10XX just received from USA OB. They fitted an 1171 bracelet to it. The OB talked me into the 1171 saying it fits the older look of the watch. I’m a modern guy so the bracelet is just ok to me.
Does it need filing? My OB won't fit it for me if filing is required. I have to order the modern Speedy Pro instead....sigh

·Don’t know about you lot but I couldn’t have a brand, spanking new bracelet filed whatever the circumstances. Must be my OCD kicking-in! 🙁

Believe it is just the 633 end links that need to be filed down, so that it doesn't scratch the case. I'd rather have the end links filed than risk scratching the watch case!

·It is. Is that a AD quote for AUD610 for the 1171/633 inc GST?
I was told it needed filing & my OB was very happy to do it. YMMV

Yes but the quality of the filing is user dependent. They could leave just enough sharp edge to scratch. Not worth the risk to me

·Went to the OB to try to change to new Speedy Pro bracelet, but they scratch the back of the lug like this already. I am very upset to be honest. Maybe I should stick with 1171/633 then🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁
That is totally unacceptable! Who did that, some kid??! I would complain, they just massively devalued your watch
