That is totally unacceptable! Who did that, some kid??! I would complain, they just massively devalued your watch

I think they must be covered safely under some standard condition while undertaking such work that “fitting and changing straps/bracelets are done at the owner’s risk”.

If it was meant as an investment piece why change the strap? Knocked the “new” right off it so now you can enjoy wearing it. I enjoy mine.

Yeah, don’t worry about it. Mines the same but I like the strap better.

Just arrived!

The minister of finance thinks I am crazy to check hand alignments and I was like, yeah the chronograph hour subdial is off by a few nanometer. lol. (which it is).

Anybody got any pics of an Ultraman on the NASA strap?

Still sat here twiddling my thumbs looking at strap options waiting for the email from Omega Manchester...

Hi all, this is my first post in this forum.. and already a sad one... I'm as well a proud owner of a ST2. In my holidays I hit a steal table with my ST2 see the result attached 😡 🙁 As you can see the hesalite + the bezel are damaged... I guess I can repair it (when I need to send it to Omega) correct?

Ouch!!! 🙁

The nick on the bezel could perhaps be polished but if sent to Omega it will be replaced. The hesalite would need to be replaced as well as the nick seems too deep to be able to take it with polywatch or similar rubbing compound. You can perhaps leave as is for now and take care of those later when the watch needs to be serviced

Don't worry about it too much. If you'll wear it on a daily basis other dings, scratches will follow. Think about it as your first love mark.
It's actually nice to see that these watches are being worn. 👍

Got mine last week and I like it much better than the pictures.

Agreed, really is better in the metal.

Realized I posted this in the wrong thread, but 1833 has arrived! It really looks better in person than most pictures. Beyond thrilled with it. Also the box is much nicer than I assumed it would be. Really well made. Hope you all like my matching shoes!

They are Vans Space Voyagers. There's three other colors and unfortunately they're all sold out on major retailers in the popular sizes but sites like StockX and Goat will have them for not much over retail. PM me if you need more help.
