Last time sold out in few hours, this time in 20 minutes, so a success for Omega. Originally started to look for a very low number, almost got 0050 but the system freeze, ended up grabbing 027X at the end 😉

Oh hello neighbour 👍

There will be less TinTins in Circulation than the Ultraman. TinTin is going to be a high priced watch eventually but it’s happening quietly as Speedy Tuesday’s take all the air out of the room.

What’s the tintin??
When’s that out

I just can't understand why I did not press the button "reserve" when I was able to do so...

You guys are brave for trying to get a number. Any number was good for me. Any time wasted changing numbers was too much of a risk for me.

I hope my number request comes through for ST2. Then I’ll have the same number as my ST1. My ST1 also pairs nicely with my Alaska Project LE. Now I feel like I have to search for an original Ultaman now... anyone selling one?? Lol. Although I’m sure it’ll cost way more than I’d like to pay
Congrats to all that will be receiving a ST2!

Did you guys have autofill on the fields? Mine did and the last validate button wouldn't click. So the timer ran out. It then asked if you need another 5min, which i got and then typed it all in again manually. The button worked after that.

No autofill for me, all manual data entry. I was prompted whether I needed another 5 mins, hit the button to request it but it didn't do anything and everything was lost. Started again, same thing happened again. Then 3rd time got lucky, it worked, but without a good number. I did attempt manual number selection each time though.

I did so three times. Unfortunately did not work at all. I presume server was blocked and it was mere chance while hitting the button to have server able to accept command.

What constitutes as a "good number"? Everyone wants their own number for different personal reasons.

I got this picture of George when my Ultraman reservation crashed on the last page, I wonder if his agent knows he is tied to such a negative image? Sorry to hear about his own crash, get well soon George.

I will admit to trying for a custom number for a few minutes before giving up and taking a random one. But really , the actual LE number does not change the value of a watch, so it does not bother me to just get a random number. In fact, the one improvement Omega could implement next time is to do away with requested numbers and only allow the purchase of a random number.

I went for the lowest number I could find because I thought I'd have a few minutes to play. I don't think it affects value and if it follows the first ST it shouldn't have an effect on delivery order. So... I probably wasted my time but it was a little bit of fun and no harm done!

With you on this. Would have loved a special number, but i was so frantic and worried about the site going down i just wanted to get in and out as quick as possible.

Doing away with the number choice probably would reduce server load a bit.

Set my alarm for 3:55am, and refreshed the Omega Instagram page until the link showed up at 4:00. Happy to have snagged a very low number (I did fiddle with the custom numbers). Still gutted over missing the original ST, but still quite happy with this release.

One near heart attack occurred when I accidentally closed the browser window within Instagram. However when I clicked the link again it brought me back to the number selector with my number still on the page. I filled out my details and was able to request an extra 5 minutes. My confirmation e-mail also came quickly and the link worked on the second try. All in all, could have been smoother, not perfect, but worked as intended more or less.

Of course the e-mail from Omega alerting me to the release came a few minutes after I had made the reservation...I'm guessing too late for many. Based on the consolation e-mail from Omega that went out in January I assumed that those of us who were early wait-listers for the original ST would be given a non-frantic pre-reserved option on the new Ultraman, but that turned out to not be the case. I hope the third time around they make sure that people who were on both waiting lists get a fair crack.

I tried to get 1979 for my birthyear but when it wasn't available on first try I just took random number. Ended up with 285 so pretty low 😁
