I think it's a different watch as well. The previous one they had, which they must have sold recently, had a notable scratch that I'm not seeing on the current one listed.

Check the post I made just before you made this one. I think you noticed the same watch I did...it has a few noticeable scratches on one of the lugs. It was sold.

Chrono24 price upon request watch 658,000 yen or about $5900. The Japanese need to revalue the yen, I hate carrying all those bills.

Today I just got mine. Maybe one of the last from an AD. Spotted it last week. Picked it up today has some marks from being shown around for 4 years.

Did the watch have the stainless steel bracelet and the leather strap?

And it's not pre-owned? This watch was only sold with the steel bracelet new. Has anyone else seen this?

It is common with our local importer to do things like that. Not the first time

That's interesting because Omega did not make the Tintin on anything but the bracelet. So, someone along the supply chain kept the bracelet and put it on the gator. Either way, it looks lovely on the strap! Enjoy the watch and wear it in good health! Welcome to the Tintin club!

The leather strap and deployant is close to $400 USD, so not much cheaper then the metal bracelet. I went this route after getting mine, and stashed the bracelet. I like the leather strap a lot better.

I have noticed a "new" or NOS or grey market the seller is removing the stainless steel bracelet and then selling the bracelet separately.

Just received a leather strap yesterday. Will put it on and preserve the stainless steel for occasional use.

As can be seen from the card, it is legit from an AD with official warranty. Maybe I shall contact omega directly.

I've found some ADs to be quite flexible with changing straps and bracelets in the prospect of selling you a watch from their stock. Probably the bracelet was just "donated" to some other speedy which came on a strap.

The bracelet costs $661 USD from an OB if anyone that wants one is interested.

Looks like new inventory than what you posted just a couple of days ago. I'm not sure this thread has created a hysteria for the watch but rather that the watch has finally caught collector's attention. And apparently some speculators too. 😀

I did the same, love the look of racing/leather on the Tintin!

Nice leather. Think I might need one with the red stitching also
