What is the reference number of the original bracelet? Is it 1958/957? I am a little bit puzzled with the different references...
Finally able to join the tintin group. Got this in today. Serial number in the range of what's already mentioned.
I suppose I should sign on. It arrived a week ago. I use my other Speedy bracelet and keep the one it came with separate. Serial # 778120xx
Hi, could some of the owners of the Tin-Tin tell me the reference number of the bracelet? Is it 1958/957? Thank you
Purchased yesterday from Bic Camera in Shibuya. First Omega and first bracelet since I was about 10. Really loving both. Hot day for shopping in Tokyo. But worth every droplet of sweat.
That's what got me started on this Speedy adventure. Got mine in Kyoto on Holiday. Enjoy and be careful! Next thing you know, you're going to have another on order
You should post in the member introduction thread and get to know the folks who visit this forum regularly. There's a wealth of knowledge and new watches to find.
Re-reading this thread and seeing some great pics reinforces why I just love the TinTin. My son, understandably, "borrowed" mine and now it looks like I won't be seeing it for the foreseeable future at least while he is working in the USA. Anyway, given my experience with the ownership of my three spouts (sons) and my watch collection I guess another TinTin will be on the horizon later this year or early next year, but once I pay off the Speedy Tuesday...which will remain our secret
Apparently Bic have put another one out on display. Several are on sale by J-sellers on Chrono 24. Wonder how many were allocated to Japan. Maybe the 'Racing' sobriquet has something to do with it being popular here.
bought mine while visiting Tokyo (surprise) at an electronic store similar to BIC Camera brand new for 2.6k USD which is unbelievable. Seems to me like a Japanese wholeseller released a large batch and sold to electronic stores. Amazing steals!! Love my Tin Tin. Serial number 777809xx
