I don't know. Only posterity will tell whether that cartoon dial watch will be remembered as a classic Moonwatch or just fade away after some time as too kiddish that was a craze for some time....
The exciting thing about all of these watches are their relative limited numbers.

And that too you don't know how many are there!! Opinions say anywhere between 500 to 5000!! Or may be more.... one thing is for sure that Omega and its ADs finished their stock fast in last one year or so courtesy latest Fratellowatches article....

I heard it's 3000
EDIT: In May 2017, In a discussion I had with Jean-Claude Monachon, VP of Omega Product Development, he suggested there were about 3000 made (he did not know the precise figure off the top of his head)...

Received my Speedmaster Tin Tin and the red-white racetrack doesn't disappoint. I fussed over whether to buy the Tin Tin vs. the standard moonwatch but I'm happy with the splash of color. For those tracking serial numbers, mine is in the 77778XXX range.
Wear it in health, looks really nice

Speedy Wednesday for me. Will be over 30 degrees (Celsius type), so nato today.

I need this strap, I think.

I tried the Omega NATO with red edging at my local boutique, and found that the red on the dial and the strap just didn't match up well. I opted for the gray edging on the NATO and love the look!

The watch quantity seems to be around 3000 easy..... should we consider this as limited edition????

I think that it's more appropriate to think of this as a "limited production" as opposed to limited edition...but hey, regardless, they're limited!

yea they're not limited in the typical sense of the word. just not popular, so small quantity produced. i don't expect them to reach crazy amounts of appreciation but you'll likely always be able to unload one for what you paid, or a bit more

My TinTin next to a '57 re-issue Broad Arrow. Amazing how two variations to a theme differ.

Below that a pic of TinTin on a watchgecko canvas strap.
