My regular speedy passed the 100m pressure test before it was serviced (after not having been serviced for about 10 years)
I've captured another tank: 77794x this week. This very interesting forum made me join in. Tintin started to live. .Dutch dealer told me he could still order, italian dealer told me recently that it was no longer possible.
I got the wooden box... think this is down to what dealers have/are prepared to let go with what... as with non LE watches there don't seem to be specific boxes.
Saw one in an AD window last week but it was already closed so couldn't check it out. Looks quite good from a distance
Hi. I suppose now the supply of Tintin watch has nearly dried up. There is no new addition to this thread for some time now. I checked with other sale forums as well and no watch is listed for sale. All watches listed there were sold. May I, therefore, request OP to please provide us his guess about the number of these watches in circulation. Regards
Just received My Tin Tin watch 7 days ago. The watch No is 77779xxx. Always a big fan since my dad bought me the first copy. Glad I found the youtube video and I grab this one after searching a few online store in U.S. But this one is the last one on the website.
I'm finding I like it increasingly and that maybe the absence of any cues to Tintin/rocket other than the chequers is not the shortcoming I imagined - the 'look' of the watch just as it is very appealing. It will be interesting if someone can come up with a good estimate of total number made.
