I swam with my vintage 30M speedy :-D It had a new case fitted at the time and no issues at all.
😀 I question the statistical validity of your sample size of one, but its your watch, you do what you want with it. 😀 Its a lovely watch, wear it well.

I believe production has now ceased for the Speedmaster "Tintin"

1. Do we have production dates/years for the Speedy Tintin?
2. Any guesstimates at production number - 400 was a figure I read in a forum post, but unconfirmed.
2. Can anyone add any Serial numbers outside of the 77.764.8xx - 77.797.9xx range

Dear all I'm new to this forum and i love my TinTin speedy. My wife gifted me this watch on november 2014 and just yesterday i bought a wonderful nato strap from Omega. I post the pictures here while my wife was trying it on.

BTW my serial number is 77.797.4xx

That looks awesome! Your wife obviously has good taste.

I was almost set on getting the Tintin on Black Nato with red border, but stumbled upon a brand new Apollo Soyuz from an AD, it's almost twice the cost of Tintin but decided to bit the bullet. Pretty sure I'll have a Tintin, if not the equally nice Apollo 15 40th anniversary at some point in the future.

Well, here it is, and I have to say, I love this! I've had loads of Speedies but this is the first to really make me think I made the perfect choice! I was fortunate that it was a decent price, brand new, unworn with stickers and only 20 miles away from me!

Serial is: 77797XXX 😀

Thanks, it's just some tweaker thing on my iPhone. Next week I'm aiming to review it on my YT channel and will take more photos. I'll post the links once done 😀
