Because the available stuff on eBay and so on doesn’t show vintage speedys I build my own one.
Due to wall watch please don’t start a fake Discussion. It seems to be clear, that this is not a real Omega Speedmaster 😉

- Takes me 3 hours on photoshop
- 2 hours to modify the 4 watch movements
- Another 3 hours to cut out all the paper and glue it to the hands.

The material cost are round about 40€.

The chrono the small second on the left and the small hours are moving.

The 30 minute indication is just show and doesent move.

Kind regards

That's a great idea! 👍

Why didn't you glue on (or photoshop) long indices as well?

i ordered the old hands from a friend... he will print them on a 3D printer.- not finished yet It’s not easy to organize the paper hands due to the little space in between. As bigger the hand are as more difficult it becomes...

This is genius and incredibly well executed. I've been thinking for a while about a clock face painted on a wall, with large hands drive by a similar movement. now I'm thinking SM300 Big Triangle.

Wow 😲 Looks great👍. I think it would look much better if you can also add the bezel. Let me know if you ever want to sell any. I like to be your first customer.😉

This is one I bought from somewhere. You could use the shell to add your graphics and then you would have the bezel (although not a DON).

That’s friendly corn18, but I think to print a bezel and add outside the clock wouldn’t fit properly.

If someone could send me a strait picture in high resolution (minimum 300dpi) of a 2915 Dial (without Hands!) i could try this as well.
I’ve got one watch on reserve 😉

@Cipolla I like yours a lot better as it is much more accurate and you have moving seconds and hour index hands. I'd buy one if you decide to turn this into a business.

Looks great and seems relatively inexpensive! Any thought of trying to add an aged patina look to the markers and hands?
