I'll just chime in to add what others have, that the Speedmaster visually wears a little smaller than the dimensions suggest. Particularly now with the new 3861 Speedmaster, which is 1 mm shorter and slightly thinner.
Here are a couple pictures on my 5.75" wrist. One is the 1861 Speedmaster previous gen, and the current one with 3861 movement.
A NATO helps, too, for a comfortable fit, but makes them wear a little thicker.
Photos distort reality because it's a flat image of a 3D object. A glance in the mirror while wearing might give a closer impression of how the watch appears when wearing.
