Curiosity has got me asking this question. Say yo got your daily beater. Which of these two would you pick as your second watch? Or maybe the Speedy 321 as the daily with the Snoopy on the weekends? What do you guys say?

There was a thread a year or two ago regarding this choice and as I recall the concensus was the 321 was the leading choice between the two. And there have been quite a few comparison discussions around the net about the two. Just Google it.

Snoopy is cool. My only gripe really is I wish they would have put the snoopy award on the lower center dial to balance the watch out. I can’t really find a gripe for the 321.

321 for me. Aside from being classic this is it - no more updates. More snoopy models will probably released in the future and possibly nicer ones.

If the 321 could be the daily beater the Snoopy would be the weekend watch.

The functional, clear and legible dial of the 321 exists for function. Boiled down, cooked off, reduced to essence. It is the daily watch.

The Snoopy is no less of a watch (and likely moreso) and is built for fun, a bit more swimming capability. How many enthusiasts swim with a Speedy? It’s a great question especially since the 3861 variants are wet tested.

This one ticks all the boxes....

It’s a beast and a hefty one! What’s your daily then?

Good question...largely depends on my mood.

Modern 321 for a daily beater for me. It would be very hard to choose a second watch and only have two.

Unless you have money to burn, I would not have a “two watch” collection that essentially had two variations of the same watch. I would pick one of the Speedmasters (whichever you prefer), then pick a nice diver or three-handler to alternate with it.

Regarding which of the two Speedmasters to get, I’d probably get the 321. More classic, more versatile. But that’s my style. I can see the appeal of the Snoopy, but it’s pricey for what i consider a novelty watch.

321all day. Pure, a timeless legend.

The Snoopy’s interesting more based on history than on actual visual appeal, but is not something I could see dropping that amount of coin on

TBH, I can't even make sense of this question, because I would NEVER have two chronographs as a two-watch collection. Perhaps consider a dress watch or a sport/dive watch.

Question you need to ask "Which 321 and which Snoopy? Please be more specific!"
