I'll have the chance to spend an afternoon at Omega with Fratellowatches and some other Speedmaster nerds next friday - obviously Ultraman is something I want to discuss in details with Mr. Protopapas, he owns one and so do I. 😀 Will share if I get to hear anything new... 👍

Hello all,
Like many, I read about the 145.012 " Ultraman" for sale on Hodinkee. Just playing devil's advocate here. If I have a 145.012 that falls in the serial number range, between 26.076.XXX and 26.079.XXX but has a white center chrono hand and I replace it with an orange one, the value of my watch goes up almost 100% so to speak?
Where is it documented that all watches within this serial number range are in fact "Ultraman"? I tried a search on Speedmaster 101.com with no results.
Thanks in advance for the insight.
Cheers,
