^Thanks, everyone 😀
...I wonder, after having for more than a year which is your favourite way of wearing it?
Without a doubt, on the 1171/633 👍😎 Note that I didn't use the term "bracelet" and tbh, if I only had the contemporary bracelet, I'd be more inclined to go with an aftermarket NATO.

The combination of the brushed ST1's case and the 1171 is perfect 🥰 and I may never swap it out... !

As a sidenote... these older endlinks wreak havoc on the back of the lugs. They need to be slid into place and it's a very tight fit. The only good news is that it's a solid fit and the endlinks don't move. However, refitting them several times will make a mess of (rear-side of) the links to be sure. I know many users don't fuss about what they can't see but... 🤔

I had the same experience fitting the 1171 to my 3594.50. I ground down the end links a little with sandpaper, but I can see the marks left on the back of the lugs. A Dremel might be a better option.

Contact an Omega Boutique (OB) or an Authorized Dealer to order one. Omega still has new ones in stock. I believe it's about $420 USD. if that's too steep for you look for one in the forums or eBay. But you'll want the 1171/1/633 model. It's nearly the same but it'll be cheaper than a vintage 1171/633.

I pulled the trigger on a Speedy Tuesday yesterday and can't wait to get my hands on it. Someone recommended this thread as a great reference for bracelet/strap choices, and I just wanted to say thanks!

I am really loving my Speedmaster Racing! I have worn a Rolex Sea Dweller for years and the Speedy is a great option and feels great on the wrist. Kudos to anyone guessing where the picture is taken. Hey, with that we should start a “ where is my Speedy” thread.

Gorgeous! Great watch, great review and great photos. Love the Alaska III, but If possible this is an improvement on the original. Thanks for the comprehensive write up!
