1. Select a boutique or AD who you want your watch to be delivered to.
2. You get impatient.
3. Boutique / AD calls you when they receive your watch. Now you're very impatient!
3. You go there to collect it and pay.
I think in the frenzy to get one, many people may not have thought of this point, which is valid!
Wow that looks very nice! Is the orange colour exactly like in the photos? I know it is not the same neon orange as the MK2 series...would you say it is similar to the orange colour on the new speedmaster racing master chronometer?
Robert-Jan, it looks great in natural light, I'm very fortunate to have managed to get one. How would you compare the Ultraman and Japan Racing orange colours? I appreciate this is difficult to answer because JR's don't all look alike, mine is bright fluoro whereas others aren't so much. On my computer the UM orange appears darker, more like an orange-red ochre. Is that a reasonable description?
We didn't on purpose. The price doesn't really have much to do with a bracelet (or not). It is like saying this 30K Patek Calatrava is 30K, it should, therefore, come with a bracelet. To be dead honest, I only would have fought for adding a bracelet when Omega could redo a 1171 or 1450. The good thing is, that the case is a 'regular' Moonwatch case, so the current (or older) bracelet will fit if you really want to have one.

I guess I didn't realize that you could choose an AD to have the watch delivered to. The closest OB is more than 3 hours away, but there's an AD pretty close to me. I wonder if there's any way to switch delivery location?
I guess it might be possible. Try to get in touch with Omega International Sales Dept.
It seems like Arthur at Omega will have a busy summer again. 😁
If they just did the CK2915 re-edition bracelet to fit a standard Moonwatch I'd be happy with that entirely, can brush out the polished parts to suit taste if required.
I responded to the email address ( the one they specified for any questions about the reservation) included in the reservation confirmation. There is no OB in the Boston area anymore - it closed last year. The closest one is in White Plains, NY, which is over 3 hours away, while there is an AD only 30 minutes away. We'll see what they say - the worst they can say is no.

J jberb55I would have liked a bracelet to be included with the watch. Or at least given the opportunity to purchase a discounted one at time of pickup. An existing, unchanged current moonwatch bracelet would be great. Why not, if "price doesn't really have much to do with a bracelet"? To me, it's an oversight similar to the lack of a deployant strap for the Apollo 8.
RJ can take up this very important issue with the Management on our behalf.
At this price Omega can easily add a complimentary steel bracelet with the watch while sending it for delivery as a gift to the buyers. In any case the cost is not much; only the retail is. They should oblige this small community of fanatic buyers.
