it’s Tuesday so of course I reached for my ultraman. Upon doing so I winded the watch and went to start the chrono except that didn’t work today. Start/Stop Button doesn’t “click” however the Reset button engages but the chrono hand just stays at 12. I’ve read other people have had issues with their ST2 and now it’s seems I do too. Very disappointed.

It's not a special ST2 movement. It's an 1861. It'll get sorted out just bring it back to an Omega Boutique.

Have you wound it fully since Sunday? Serious question.

The OP already said "I winded the watch and went to start the chrono except that didn’t work".

Just take it back to the dealer.

It will be a quick fix at the service center. Do not worry too much into it. Do insist that they sort it out ASAP as it is brand new.

Yeah I’m going to have to do that. I wore the watch all day and as the power reserve went down i noticed the chrono start/stop with the crown down would function properly but crown up the pusher is stuck. Fully wound it again this morning and no matter the orientation nothing. Can’t wait to find out what it is.

Not sure you are supposed to start the chrono with the crown pulled

That's fine - makes no difference.

I’m not starting the chrono with the crown pulled out. I literally mean when the crown is facing up towards the sky it will not engage as aposed to when it’s facing down.

Amazing to hear "issues" with brand new watches of this batch...
My 20, 25, 50 years old Speedies never had a glitch
