Is there someone at Omega that don’t know how to calculate currencies? 6220€ compared to 4750£??

Trying to order one but their website is down, and not working at all. I already got a serial number, and during confirmation the website shut down!!

What should one do now?

In France were I live, we experienced many bugs and freezes on the system in the reservation process. I had to go through the process around 5 times before it finally accepted my reservation. Waiting with this not working confirm button and with the system logging you out after 5 minutes was quite stressful and disappointing.
In the end, thanks to my spouse who joined me for the rescue when she heard me in difficulty, I got one. Unfortunately not a number I enjoy, but at least I have one. Thank you darling for the rescue.

Quite unfortunate the system malfunctioned so badly, or else it would have been a great experience. The watch looks nice.
Robert Jan you got me with the Bmw misdirection, but I hold no grudge, the watch looks great.

Looks awesome, particularly with the step dial. And not just an exact replica, some really nice touches on the dial and bezel. Nice work!

Actually that's a pretty steep difference! I wonder what the reasons behind it are.

In Spain is 6020€ (If I am not worng..).

They must experience a LOT of problems, a launch of failure, as you could not get thru to order one. So I got to the point that I already got a serial number, but then the system failed! The system just froze over completely, didn't let me continue and showed all kinds of error and freeze messages! No difference on a laptop or mobile, as I got forward for the booking also on the mobile a few times, but could not go further there also...

A not so nice experience at all Omega, some one would probably say that you fu...ed this up quite badly. You could not even contact Omegas own Contact Us selection as even that link was broken... Maybe they should do a few tests in their systems first prior to doing a launch like this, that just ends up blowing them in their face in a bad way... I could not even reply to their Subrcribe list at first... That one only worked on Firefox...

(Photos are from my mobile, they where identical on a laptop)

Your never going to get a system where 5000 people are all trying to get 2012 watches at the same time.

Sure you can. Its called a queuing system. Online ticket sale systems use them every day.

IMO two things happened. Omega's servers weren't stress tested properly to handle the amount of traffic and they didn't have the proper validation and button function to only allow a single submission. And secondly the CAPTCHA form wasn't validating properly and in some cases timed out before the 5 minutes you had to complete the form.

They automatically refuse people reservations who have the Rolex forums open on their computer at the same time.
Very good ::rimshot::,

For those of you who missed out:

I've noticed the SEIKO SNN079P2 on sale for just over a C-note on some sites.

Oh, come on?! I actually like this one (the first ST didn't do it for me) .... Went to reserve and ... all gone.

Fookit ... going to buy a ProPlof ... you can keep your damn limited editions 🙁

Brilliant marketing, even if the computer system sucks, because it got fully subcribed within 30 minutes I was told. And now they have a waiting list just in case some of those who "reserved" decide to back out later...

Wow! Absolutely amazing! I think it’s really tapping into the vintage vein in a very very nice way while still staying modern. The stepped dial was the first thing that really got me.
didn't ST1 not have a step dial?

I hope the second hand has the correct length. 😁 I guess I'll find out when I receive it.
