Hello all,

I am a first-time poster, a longtime Omega fan, yet an overall new Omega owner. My forte in the watchworld lies with Seiko/Citizen.

I have a quick question about my hesalite sandwich 3572.50 Speedmaster. I got the watch grey market this past summer in Tokyo, and I can't find any information on the 1998/849 bracelet on my watch being linked to the same reference. I have scoured online and the forum's bracelet reference guides (https://omegaforums.net/threads/case-bracelet-endpiece-list.81618/, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H5aOPD8jKNy8oNPBVyONGb-thVc8l2Qa/view?pli=1) to name a few, but I still have not had any luck. I have found that the reference originally sold with the 1998/840 bracelet. My watch features the 1861 movement (no tritium dial). Per the serial number, the manufacture date was 1998.

I thought finding the answer would be much simpler, apologies for the noobie question. Perhaps I'm missing the mark altogether, here to learn! Poor pictures are attached. Thanks in advance!

Welcome and congrats on your Speedmaster !
I checked but it is not on the Omega database website anymore. Could be both types are correct, if you want a start for the timeline this article on Fratello, although for a different type watch, will help you with dating the bracelet.

Buyer's Guide: Omega Speedmaster '57 Broad Arrow 3594.50 (fratellowatches.com)

Otherwise try via google omega 3572.50 bracelet , or compare with watches on offer on Chrono24 ?

According to Moonwatch Only the 1998/849 bracelet was fitted from 2002-2014, replacing the 1998/840, fitted from 1999-2002. While perhaps not conclusive it would suggest that your bracelet is a replacement.
