Hi everyone,

A bit of a strange question, but has anyone tried fitting the previous 1998 Speedy Pro bracelet on the more recently produced Speedmasters (post 2014, reference 311.30.42.30.01.005)? If so, does it fit or are the lug holes now positioned differently?

Thanks in advance!

It will fit fine, since the 3570.50 and new one both use the 145.022 case. The older 1998 bracelet is more comfortable as well since everything's less thick. And you can fit a 1610 half-link on it too.

Thanks! I've heard rumors about different placement of lug holes, though. I'm not sure why they would do that, unless it was to accommodate something different about the new bracelet. Do you know if that's the case?

If someone has a side photo showing lug hole placement in the post-2014 model that would be really helpful and much appreciated. Same with the 3570.50.

I agree that the older 1998 bracelet is noticeably more comfortable. Great modern bracelet!

The modern speedmaster bracelet is pain in the ass. I hope they fix it when they release Moonwatch with cal. 3861 😀

May I ask please.
How can one tell between an older 1998 to the newer version?

I had no idea there where 2 versions of this bracelet, tbh!

1998 and older uses pin + tubes for sizing. The new one has screws on each outer end of the removable links with a pin in the center for sizing.

How about the case on 145.012-67 - would it theoretically fit with modern omega end links or do they need some adjustments? Might fit a nice temporary bracelet until i have the funds for a 1039 😀
