·I sent mine to Nesbit's in Seattle for a service. The crystal was included in the service. There are people on eBay who sell after-market crystals but I don't know how well they work.

·The OEM crystal is a mineral glass which is really not very resilient.
If you search Mark II sapphire glass, you'll find a US supplier for a sapphire crystal made in Germany.
I can't find a Euro source for this, I'm assured it is vastly better than an original.
