Omega737
·Hello,
I have this vintage Omega Speedmaster Mark II that my father got in the 70's. It seems it was over polished (no more sunburst top finish and the sides are also more rounded than usual) in the 90's. The bracelet was replaced not too long ago. The chronograph works but no longer returns to 12 o'clock position when reset as it used to. I didn't want to venture into opening the case to find the S/N.
I am not sure If Omega will still service it (just basic service and perhaps fix the chronograph), or if I should try finding a professional that could redo/restore some of the original polish. Any suggestions? I'm located in the US (FL).
Thanks!
