Speedmaster Professional production year mystery help?

Hello smart Omega people, I'm trying to ascertain the authenticity of a Speedmaster Professional 3570.50 with serial number 483611xx. Every decoder that I check puts it as being manufactured roughly 1998 or later, but the (handwritten) warranty card has the date of May 1997. Could it have been produced in 1997 or likely earlier? I understand that the serial number ranges for Speedmasters can be all over the place, but would appreciate any help with this! Cheers

Did you already try ilovemyspeedmaster.com?
Thank you! I had not. I appreciate your response.

Interestingly, it shows an approximate production month of June 1997 with the warranty card being dated in May 1997. This watch’s warranty card is signed by an Omega corporate office and not an OB or AD so I guess it potentially could’ve been plucked off the assembly line for release? Thanks again.

Could you show a pic of the warrantycard?

Here you go. From what I understand, SMH UK Ltd was Swatch’s Corporate HQ and Service Center in the UK in 1997. It did not house an Omega Boutique or retail aspect. So this watch’s warranty card was filled out by corporate. (I scrubbed the last couple of digits just to be safe).

When my brother bought a pack of basketball cards here in the Netherlands there was a prize in it, he had to respond by 7/1/1996. We thought is was odd it ended already as it was already March '96, turns out in the US they revert day and month. This is the other way around in your case, date isn't May '97, it's August.

Well, I feel silly. I even knew that’s how they did dates over there and I still misread it. Thank you for not entirely laughing at me! And thank you again for your responses! Greatly appreciated!
