Update: ~-18sec over the last 12hrs. At least it’s looking consistent!

That's something I suppose.
Have you considered finding a watchmaker who is highly regarded with an Omega parts account closer to home?
It may be more cost effective to get them to have a look at it and see if a slight adjustment will suffice. It's possible the other person may have done a bit of a bodgy service.

I’ve only worn it on weekends but wound it fully each day of wear (yesterday wound it morning and night). Timing it against time.is which has seemed reliable for other watches.

Thanks all - I will contact the watchmaker after the weekend. Part of my concern is that I’ll have to post it across state to return for inspection (with insurance will cost half the service price).

Yep, this is my worry so I appreciate the input. There is a local who serviced my 2503.50 AT who I’m considering taking it to for a look at. For highly regarded I have to drive 2hrs (to Sydney), which I’m also open to if full service is needed.

Honestly although 37sec is a lot I can live with for 5yrs until next service (my AT is my work watch) - I just don’t want to neglect an issue that might lead to more issues.

I have to fly to Sydney to make a long weekend getaway out of it with my wife and we stay near Darling harbour.
Actually, the last time i was there was to specifically drop a watch off to Max Schweitzer. He did a good job with a movement service on it. As it's a 2005 Co-axial with a very closely related movement to your AT, Max was a bit of a stab in the dark for me, but it worked out just fine. I'm actually wearing it as I tap😀
Some won't necessarily agree with my choice of watchmaker and a nice fellow I have communicated with through another forum has not been impressed with Max in the past but I'll be going back to him.
Anyway, opinions and experiences will vary.
There's also a couple of others around that part of the world who are noteable👎
Then there's also a highly respectable watchmaker down in Melbourne, but he's generally backed up with work from what I hear, so it would likely end up being in for a full movement service with him depending...
Maybe ring around the best that Sydney has to offer and see where it takes you on your journey with your new watch?
It will be good to get a feel for the lay of the land as it were and prepare the way for future servicing requirements. After all this sounds like you have a growing collection that will need maintaining and a good independent is worth their weight in gold.

Thanks for the recommendation! I was thinking of trying Hacko for full service as work quality sounds consistent…

Speaking of consistency I also measured w/ an app (12hrs dial up, 12hrs crown up) and both showed -19.5sec (-39p/d), crossing fingers my local can fix with regulating. But will call original servicing WM first.

Yes, Nick Hacko also comes to mind.
He's actually the go to watchmaker for our family jeweller with his Omega for what it's worth.
There's another fellow who I've heard about that seems to be an up and coming operator in Sydney.

Please keep us abreast of how you decide to proceed?
Also how things work out in the end.
