Hi all, I'd kindly need your advise concerning my Speedmaster Professional, cal. 1861, ref. 38705000, hereby described and widely photographed: http://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-speedmaster-professional-new-user.4324/ I am fairly happy with its 1171/1 steel bracelet but, since my timepiece seems to be the leather-bracelet version of the classic 3570, I'd like to know which appropriate Omega bracelet I should look for. Thank you indeed, Marco
No bracelets are listed for the specific model number of your watch - in fact they don't show a bracelet or a strap on the Omega Extranet for this one. However the case for your model is a 055ST1450022, and for that case 2 bracelets are currently available. One is the 020ST1958957, and one is the more common 020ST1998849. Cheers, Al
Thank you indeed, Archer, for your prompt reply. Very interesting - it seems I was wrong, then? My assumpion was based on several leathered-bracelet versions of my same reference, currently available on the web, and above all on a kind info provided some time ago by one of our respected, fellow users. He wrote that my watch came from 1998 or 1999 (based on serial number 4839XXXX), as explained by http://chronomaddox.com/romans.html He moreover added that reference 3870.50 was basically the "leather strap version of 3570.50" (http://www.omegawatches.com/watches/speedmaster/moonwatch/professional/38705031). Again, kindest regards, Marco
Hi Marco, I wasn't saying that your watch didn't come on a strap, only that no strap of bracelet is listed on the Extranet for it. Cheers, Al
Thank you Archer, I understand. So, whatever Omega - Speedmaster Professional's leather bracelet would be suitable? Marco
